Rane Faunder is the founder and lead developer at Faunder. With over 20 years of experience in web development, he's seen the industry evolve from simple LAMP stacks to complex modern frameworks.

The frustration with increasing complexity led to the creation of Faunder Stack — a return to fundamentals while still leveraging modern tools and best practices.

Philosophy

Faunder's philosophy is simple: less magic, more understanding. We prefer tools and approaches that are transparent, where you can see what's happening under the hood.

This doesn't mean we avoid modern tools — we use Bun, Preact, and other excellent technologies. But we use them in ways that don't hide the fundamentals.
